Regency Riptides Swim Team

Each family is required to commit to volunteer 5 meets during the swim season (4 meets of your choice in addition to Time Trials on June 2, 2026).

The Regency Riptides swim team volunteers can be put into three categories - board members, fixed volunteer positions and rotating volunteer positions.  

• Board members include Meet Director/Chairperson, Concessions Director, TSA Representative, Volunteer Coordinator, Merchandising Coordinator, Sponsorship Coordinator, and Treasurer.  
• Fixed volunteer positions are held throughout the season by one or two individuals and are detailed in the table below.  
• Rotating volunteer positions are held by various volunteers throughout the season and are detailed in the table below.

When committing your swimmer(s) for each meet, you will also sign up for a volunteer position.  The volunteer coordinator will send an email on the Sunday prior to each meet as a reminder of your volunteer commitment.

If you are currently serving or plan to volunteer as a Board member or for a fixed volunteer position, your family will be exempt from any other volunteer responsibilities for the remainder of the season.

The following two tables list all volunteer positions required to staff and successfully run a swim meet.  The fixed volunteer positions are held by one or two individuals throughout the entire swim season.  The rotating volunteer positions will be filled by Regency families when they sign their swimmer(s) for each swim meet.  All volunteer positions are not required at every event as noted in each table.
