Hi everyone! My name is Claire Brenegan and I am super excited to be returning this summer as an assistant coach for the Regency Riptides! I am a rising sophomore at the University of Tennessee Knoxville, majoring in nursing. I have been swimming since I was five years old, and I joined the Riptides back in 2017 when I moved to the neighborhood. Some of you may already know me from being both a junior coach and an assistant coach during the previous summers, but I am looking forward to meeting many new swimmers and families as well. I am excited for another great summer! Go Riptides!
Hey everyone! My name is Logan Johnson and I am very excited to be coming back for this season as a lead coach. I am a rising junior at Cary Christian School and have been on the swim team there since 6th grade. I am returning for my fourth season coaching with the Riptides. I've been swimming since I was nine when I moved here and I am a year-round swimmer with Raleigh Swimming Association. I can't wait to work with the 7-8 swimmers and to meet any new swimmers and families this season!
Hi, my name is Kaitlin! I’m a rising junior at Cardinal Gibbons High School. I’ve been a part of the Regency Riptides swim team since I was 4 years old. I also swim for Gibbons, and my favorite stroke is breaststroke. Outside of swimming, I love going on walks, listening to music, and hanging out with my friends. My goal this season is to help everyone feel confident in the water and to have a great season. This will be my third year coaching, and I’m so excited to see everyone!
Hi, I’m Lauren! I’m a student at Athens Drive Magnet High School in the Health Science Academy. I’m a year-round rower with Triangle Rowing Club and have been part of Regency Riptides since I was four years old. I started coaching Riptides four years ago and am excited to return to the Riplets for my second year. I’m certified in American Red Cross CPR and Stop-the-Bleed, and I love helping swimmers grow in and out of the water.
Hi Regency families! My name is Timothy Bachle, and I am happy to be the age group coach of the 11-ups. I am a graduating senior at Apex High School and have been on the swim team there for all four years, as well as spending three years swimming for RSA. I have swam for Regency since I was seven years old, and I want to help the kids continue loving swimming as much as I have. I am going to be very adaptive with the age group since there is a large variance in age and skill, but I hope I can give each of them a reason to enjoy swimming and the team. I can't wait for another amazing season at the pool!
