Remind Group for Practice updates

Updates to practices will be made through the Regency Riptides 2026 Remind group: Regency Riptides 2026 group. This is the same Remind group as last season so if you signed up last year you do not have to rejoin the group.

Practices

Practices will be held Monday this week at the Cambridge pool at the normal times (weather permitting).

Monday

• Ages 6 & Under      5:00-5:45 PM
• Ages 7/8                 5:45-6:30 PM
• Ages 9/10               6:30-7:30 PM
• Ages 11 & Up         7:30-8:30 PM

On Wednesday, July 15, 2026 there are swim clinics offered by Raleigh Swimming Association (RSA) for swimmers 7 and older at the Cambridge pool.  This is the reschedule of the clinic from May 26, 2026. 

Wednesday, July 15, 2026 Clinic Times

• Ages 7/8             6:00-6:45 PM (RSA clinic - different practice start and end times)
• Ages 9 & Up       6:45-7:30 PM (RSA clinic - different practice start time)

Home swim meet against Oxxford Hunt – July 14, 2026

The last swim meet of the season is at home against the Oxxford Hunt Swampfoxxes at the Cambridge pool on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at 6 pm. More details about the meet will be sent in a separate communication.

Meet timeline

• 4:45 pm – swimmers on deck/check in
• 5:00 pm – warm-up begins
• 5:45 pm – meeting for volunteer officials (timers and judges)
• 5:55 pm – senior recognition
• 6:00 pm – meet begins

Regency Riptides 2026 end of season banquet – July 16, 2026

The Regency Riptides end of season banquet will be held rain or shine on Thursday, July 16, 2026 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Cambridge pool. We will celebrate the swim season with food, games, and team awards.

All registered swimmers that RSVP’d will receive a meal, drink, and a treat for no charge.

Payments for additional meals are due. Zelle, cash, or check are accepted. Please note swimmer name(s) and Banquet in the memo section of the check or Zelle payment.

For payment by check, please may payable to Regency Riptides. Checks can be given to Angie Urbanc at 102 Selly Manor Ct. or Wendy Monroe at 304 Southglen Dr.

Job Signup

Regency Gives Back Program

Jackson Szymborski, a former Regency Riptides swimmer, developed a program called Regency Gives Back.The program collects school supplies for students and teachers at Penny Road Elementary School and Dillard Drive Magnet Middle School from Monday, June 29, 2026 until August 15, 2026.
