Remind Group for Practice updates

Updates to practices will be made through the Regency Riptides 2026 Remind group: Regency Riptides 2026 group. This is the same Remind group as last season so if you signed up last year you do not have to rejoin the group.

Practices

Practices will be held Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week at the Cambridge pool at the normal times (weather permitting).

Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday

• Ages 6 & Under         5:00-5:45 PM
• Ages 7/8                    5:45-6:30 PM
• Ages 9/10                  6:30-7:30 PM
• Ages 11 & Up            7:30-8:30 PM

Away swim meet at Highcroft – July 7, 2026

The last away meet of the season is against the Highcroft Hurricanes (5115 Highcroft Dr, Cary, NC 27519) on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at 6 pm. More details about the meet will be sent in a separate communication.

Meet timeline

• 5:15 pm – swimmers on deck/check in
• 5:30 pm – warm-up begins
• 5:45 pm – meeting for volunteer officials (timers and judges)
• 6:00 pm – meet begins

Home swim meet against Oxxford Hunt – July 14, 2026

The last swim meet of the season is at home against the Oxxford Hunt Swampfoxxes at the Cambridge pool on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at 6 pm.

Meet sign up will be open from Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at 6 pm until Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 6 pm by accessing the following link: https://regencyriptides.swimtopia.com/swim_meets. No entries will be accepted after sign up closes. During sign up, let us know if your swimmer(s) will be attending the meet or not attending the meet. You also sign your swimmer(s) for what events they will participate in. Instructions on swimmer signups for meets can be found at: Meet Signup Instructions.

Cary City Meet – July 11, 2026

The 43rd Annual Cary City Invitational Swim Meet will be held Saturday, July 11, 2026 at the Scottish Hills Recreation Club (1423 Tarbert Dr, Cary, NC 27511). 26 southern league Tarheel Swimming Association (TSA) teams are participating. Regency Riptides 2026 end of season banquet – July 16, 2026

The Regency Riptides end of season banquet will be held rain or shine on Thursday, July 16, 2026 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Cambridge pool. We will celebrate the swim season with food, games, and team awards.

All registered swimmers that RSVP will receive a meal, drink, and a treat for no charge. Additional meals are available for purchase for $15 each. RSVP’s and additional meal orders must be received by 6 pm Saturday, July 11, 2026. Burrito Shak will be providing a taco bar which will include: taco shells, ground beef, chicken, rice, black beans, lettuce, cheese, green peppers, various salsas, guacamole, sour cream, and chips.

Job Signup for banquet

Regency Gives Back Program

Jackson Szymborski, a former Regency Riptides swimmer, developed a program called Regency Gives Back. The program collects school supplies for students and teachers at Penny Road Elementary School and Dillard Drive Magnet Middle School from Monday, June 29, 2026 until August 15, 2026.
