Remind Group for Practice updates

Updates to practices will be made through the Regency Riptides 2026 Remind group: Regency Riptides 2026 group. This is the same Remind group as last season so if you signed up last year you do not have to rejoin the group.

Practices

Practices will be held Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week at the Cambridge pool at the normal times (weather permitting).

Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday

  • Ages 6 & Under       5:00-5:45 PM
  • Ages 7/8                  5:45-6:30 PM
  • Ages 9/10                6:30-7:30 PM
  • Ages 11 & Up          7:30-8:30 PM

Home swim meet against Silverton – June 30, 2026

The second home meet of the season is against the Silverton Sharks at the Cambridge pool on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 6 pm. More details about the meet will be sent in a separate communication.

Meet timeline

  • 4:45 pm – swimmers on deck/check in
  • 5:00 pm – warm-up begins
  • 5:45 pm – meeting for volunteer officials (timers and judges)
  • 6:00 pm – meet begins

******We are still in need of the following volunteers:

  • Concessions Assistants
  • Meet Clean Up Team
  • Timers

Cary City Meet – July 11, 2026

The 43rd Annual Cary City Invitational Swim Meet will be held Saturday, July 11, 2026 at the Scottish Hills Recreation Club (1423 Tarbert Dr, Cary, NC 27511). 26 southern league Tarheel Swimming Association (TSA) teams are participating.More information about the Cary City swim meet can be found at the following link: https://scottishhills.org/cary-city-meet-27/

Meet sign up is open until Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 6 pm by accessing the following links:

Entry fees are $6.00 per individual event and $15.00 per relay event. Regency Riptides swim team pays entry fees for all relay teams.

Away swim meet at Highcroft – July 7, 2026

The last away meet of the season is against the Highcroft Hurricanes (5115 Highcroft Dr, Cary, NC 27519) on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at 6 pm.

Meet sign up will be open from Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at 6 pm until Saturday, July 4, 2026 at 6 pm by accessing the following link: https://regencyriptides.swimtopia.com/swim_meets. No entries will be accepted after sign up closes. During sign up, let us know if your swimmer(s) will be attending the meet or not attending the meet. You also sign your swimmer(s) for what events they will participate in. Instructions on swimmer signups for meets can be found at: Meet Signup Instructions.

Regency Gives Back Program

Jackson Szymborski, a former Regency Riptides swimmer, developed a program called Regency Gives Back. The program collects school supplies for students and teachers at Penny Road Elementary School and Dillard Drive Magnet Middle School from Monday, June 29, 2026 until August 15, 2026.
