The 43^rd Annual Cary City Invitational Swim Meet will be held Saturday, July 11, 2026 at the Scottish Hills Recreation Club (1423 Tarbert Dr, Cary, NC 27511). 26 southern league Tarheel Swimming Association (TSA) teams are participating. Volunteer Roles

In order for Regency Riptides to participate in the Cary City meet, there needs to be at least one volunteer for the morning and at least one volunteer for the afternoon to coordinate for Regency Riptides. These roles are located in the meet entry signups. If the coordination role is not filled by June 30, 2026 at 10 pm, Regency will not participate in that session.

  • Determine what volunteers are needed for set up (tents, tables, etc.) – create signups for volunteer slots
  • Determine what snack/drinks are needed and create signups for these
  • Other activities during the morning session
• Afternoon session coordinator for Regency
  • Determine what volunteers are needed for tear down (tents, tables, etc.) – create signups for volunteer slots
  • Determine what snack/drinks are needed and create signups for these
  • Other activities during the afternoon session
• Additional volunteers will be need during the meet (timers, kid pushers, etc.) These roles will be known no later than July 5, 2026.

No entries will be accepted after sign up closes.

• 6 & under may register for no more than two individual events.
  • ***All 6 & unders swim 25 yards and there are no kid catchers***

• 7 & up may register for no more than three individual events

  • Breaststroke
  • Butterfly

If we have enough swimmers in an age group, relay teams will be created. If you do not want your swimmer on a relay team, please note that during signup.

Schedule

The tentative schedule for the meet follows. Please note that the schedule lists approximate start and end times and is subject to change based on final number of entries, weather, technical difficulties, etc.

Morning Session (10 & Unders)

• 7:00 am - Warm-ups begin
• 8:00 am - Opening announcements
• 8:15 am - First event
• 12:30 pm - Conclusion of session

Afternoon Session (11 & Ups)

• 1:00 pm - Warm-ups begin
• 2:00 pm - Opening announcements
• 2:15 pm - First event
• 7:30 pm - Conclusion of session

Awards will be presented at the conclusion of the afternoon session.

Entry Fees

Entry fees are $6.00 per individual event and $15.00 per relay event. Regency Riptides swim team pays entry fees for all relay teams. Each swimmer is responsible for paying for their individual entries. Fees are due by July 3, 2026.
