Life Time Cary at Regency Riptides – Tuesday, June 23, 2026 - meet info and prelim heat sheets

The first home meet of the season is against Life Time Cary at the Cambridge pool on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. Tomorrow is Luau Night! Wear your favorite Hawaiian shirts and grab a lei at check in.

***Do not parking in the Cambridge pool parking lot – it is reserved for the visiting team. Parking is available in the Danbury pool parking lot or along Killingsworth Drive and Royal Glen Drive, but only on the side opposite the fire hydrants.

Timeline
  • 4:00 pm – Pool closes; only lifeguards, concessions, volunteer coordinators, and meet set up team will be allowed in
  • 4:30 pm – pool opens for meet – please do not enter the pool area before 4:30 pm unless you are part of meet set up, volunteer coordinators, or concessions
  • 4:45 pm – swimmers on deck/check in
  • 5:00 pm – warm-up begins
  • 5:45 pm – meeting for volunteer officials (timers and judges)
  • 6:00 pm – meet begins

If your swimmer is in a medley relay, they must be checked in by 5:45 pm or they will be scratched from the relay.

Swimmer Numbers

Please write swimmer numbers in Sharpie on both upper arms of each swimmer - this will speed up the check in process.  The list of swimmer numbers is attached to this email and is located at: 2026 Regency Riptides Swimmer Numbers

Absences/Late Arrivals

If you are running late to the meet or if your swimmer will not be able to swim, please text Angie Urbanc (919-656-3330) and Brayden Devine (919-389-8082) as soon as possible.

Volunteers

Anna Kambour will send a separate email directly to volunteers with their assignments. Volunteers should be checked in by 5:30 pm.

Reminders

After 4:00 pm, swimmers are not allowed in the pool unless they are warming up or swimming an event. No swimmers are allowed in the shallow or deep end of the pool from 4:00 pm until the meet ends.
