Remind Group for Practice updates

Updates to practices will be made through the Regency Riptides 2026 Remind group: Regency Riptides 2026 group. This is the same Remind group as last season so if you signed up last year you do not have to rejoin the group.

Practices

Practices will be held Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week at the Cambridge pool at the normal times (weather permitting). Saturday will be a clinic focused on skills based on feedback from the Tuesday swim meet.

During the Monday practices from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, join other swimmers in making posters for our first meet! If you would like to volunteer or bring supplies, please contact Taylor Greene ([email protected]).

Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday

• Ages 6 & Under   5:00-5:45 PM
• Ages 7/8               5:45-6:30 PM
• Ages 9/10             6:30-7:30 PM
• Ages 11 & Up       7:30-8:30 PM

Saturday Clinic – skill focus TBD

• Ages 9 & Up          9:00-10:00 AM
• Ages 7/8              10:00-10:30 AM
• Ages 6 & Under   10:30-11:00 AM

Dad’s Pancake Breakfast – June 13, 2026

The Dad’s pancake breakfast will be from 10:00 to 11:30 am on Saturday, June 13, 2026 during the Saturday clinic. Dad volunteers make pancakes for the swimmers to enjoy after they swim.

Swim meet at Brookstone – June 9, 2026

The first official meet of the season is an away meet against the Brookstone Barracudas (6651 Lewey Drive Cary, NC 27519) on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at 6 pm. More details about the meet will be sent in a separate communication.

Meet timeline

• 5:15 pm – swimmers on deck/check in
• 5:30 pm – warm-up begins
• 5:45 pm – meeting for volunteer officials (timers and judges)
• 6:00 pm – meet begins

Swim meet at Walden Creek – June 16, 2026

The second meet of the season is an away meet against the Walden Creek Wahoos (2207 Walden Creek Dr, Apex, NC 27523) on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at 6 pm.

Meet sign up will be open from Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at 6 pm until Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 6 pm by accessing the following link: https://regencyriptides.swimtopia.com/swim_meets. No entries will be accepted after sign up closes. During sign up, let us know if your swimmer(s) will be attending the meet or not attending the meet. You also sign your swimmer(s) for what events they will participate in. Instructions on swimmer signups for meets can be found at: Meet Signup Instructions.
