The 42nd Cary City Invitational Swim Meet will be held Saturday, July 12, 2025 at the Cary Swim Club (808 Tanglewood Dr, Cary, NC 27511).  All 50 southern league Tarheel Swimming Association (TSA) teams are invited to participate.  More information about the Cary City swim meet can be found at the following link: https://caryswimclub.org/cary-city-swim-meet-2-64/

Meet sign up is open until Monday, June 23, 2025 at 6 pm by accessing the following links:

No entries will be accepted after sign up closes.

• 6 & under swimmers may register for no more than two individual events.  All 6 & under swimmers swim 25 yards
  • Freestyle
  • Backstroke
• 7 & up swimmers may register for no more than three individual events
  • Freestyle
  • Backstroke
  • Breaststroke
  • Butterfly

If we have enough swimmers in an age group, relay teams will be created. If you do not want your swimmer on a relay team, please note that during signup.

Schedule

The tentative schedule for the meet follows. Please note that the schedule lists approximate start and end times and is subject to change based on final number of entries, weather, technical difficulties, etc.

Morning Session (10 & Under swimmers)

• 7:00 am - Warm-ups begin
• 8:00 am - Opening announcements
• 8:15 am - First event
• 12:30 pm - Conclusion of session

Afternoon Session (11 & Up swimmers)

• 1:00 pm - Warm-ups begin
• 2:00 pm - Opening announcements
• 2:15 pm - First event
• 7:30 pm - Conclusion of session

Awards will be presented at the conclusion of the afternoon session.

Entry Fees

Entry fees are $6.00 per individual event and $15.00 per relay event.  Regency Riptides swim team pays entry fees for all relay teams.  Each swimmer is responsible for paying for their individual entries. Fees are due by July 5, 2025.

Zelle, cash, or check are accepted. Please note swimmer name(s) and Cary City Meet in the memo section of the check or Zelle payment.

Volunteer Roles

If you sign your swimmer up for this meet, you will be expected to volunteer. Some of the volunteer roles are:

• Hosting the pasta party the night before the meet (Friday, July 11, 2025)
• Setting up the tents after 5:00 pm on Friday, July 11, 2025
• Bringing snacks and/or drinks to the meet
• Volunteering during the meet (timers, kids pushers, etc.) – we will know the volunteers Regency needs to provide no later than June 29, 2025.
• Taking the tents down and cleaning up the area at then end of the meet
