Practices

Practices will be held Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday this week at the Cambridge pool (weather permitting).

Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday

• Ages 6 & Under  5:00-5:45 PM
• Ages 7/8              5:45-6:30 PM
• Ages 9/10            6:30-7:30 PM
• Ages 11 & Up      7:30-8:30 PM

Saturday

• Ages 9 & Up          9:00-10:00 AM
• Ages 7/8              10:00-10:30 AM
• Ages 6 & Under  10:30-11:00 AM

The starting blocks are now installed.  Please remind your swimmers that the blocks should only be used during swim practice when the coaches tell them it is ok.  For your children’s safety, the blocks should not be used at any other time.

Team shirts and swim caps

The team shirts are available.  I will be handing the rest of the shirts out at practice on Monday.  If you will not be at practice but still want your shirt before the meet on Tuesday, please contact me (Angie Urbanc – [email protected]).

If you ordered swim caps, they are scheduled to be here late this week (Thursday or Friday).  I will hand them out once they arrive.  If you would still like to buy a Regency Riptides swim cap for $20, please contact me (Angie Urbanc – [email protected]).

Swim meet at Amberly – June 10, 2025

The first official meet of the season is an away meet against Amberly (1075 Residents Club Drive Cary, NC 27519) on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.  Check in is 5:15 pm, warm ups begin at 5:30 pm, and meet start time is 6:00 pm.  More details about the meet will be in a separate communication.

Dad’s Pancake Breakfast – June 14, 2025

The Dad’s pancake breakfast will be from 10:00 to 11:30 am on Saturday, June 14, 2025 during the Saturday practice.  Dad volunteers make pancakes for the swimmers to enjoy after they swim.

Home swim meet against Highcroft – June 17, 2025

The first home meet of the season is against Highcroft on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 6 pm at the Cambridge pool.

Meet sign up will be open from Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at 5 pm until Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 5 pm by accessing the following link: https://regencyriptides.swimtopia.com/swim_meets.  No entries will be accepted after sign up closes.  During sign up, let us know if your swimmer(s) will be attending the meet or not attending the meet.  You also sign your swimmer(s) for what events they will participate in.Instructions on swimmer signups for meets can be found at: 2025 Meet Signup Instructions.

FIRED UP Pizza & BBQ food truck – June 18, 2025

FIRED UP Pizza & BBQ food truck will be popped up in the Cambridge Pool parking lot on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 from 5:30 -8:00 pm (during swim practice).  A pre-order link will be available closer to the date.
