Practices

Practices will be held Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday this week at the Cambridge pool (weather permitting)

Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday

• Ages 6 & Under   5:00-5:45 PM
• Ages 7/8               5:45-6:30 PM
• Ages 9/10             6:30-7:30 PM
• Ages 11 & Up       7:30-8:30 PM

Saturday

• Ages 9 & Up         9:00-10:00 AM
• Ages 7/8               10:00-10:30 AM
• Ages 6 & Under   10:30-11:00 AM

The starting blocks are now installed.  Please remind your swimmers that the blocks should only be used during swim practice when the coaches tell them it is ok.  For your children’s safety, the blocks should not be used at any other time.

Time Trials – June 3, 2025

Time trials will be held at the Cambridge pool on June 3, 2025.  Check in is 4:45 pm, warm ups begin at 5:00 pm, team picture is at 5:45 pm, and meet start time is 6:00 pm.  More details about Time Trials will be in a separate communication.

We are still in need of several volunteers for Time Trials:

• Clerk of Course – need 2
• Starter trainee

Swim meet at Amberly – June 10, 2025

The first official meet of the season is an away meet against Amberly (1075 Residents Club Drive Cary, NC 27519) on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at 6 pm.

Meet sign up will be open from Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at 5 pm until Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 5 pm by accessing the following link: https://regencyriptides.swimtopia.com/swim_meets.  No entries will be accepted after sign up closes.  During sign up, let us know if your swimmer(s) will be attending the meet or not attending the meet.  You also sign your swimmer(s) for what events they will participate in.  Instructions on swimmer signups for meets can be found at: 2025 Meet Signup Instructions.

Dad’s Pancake Breakfast – June 14, 2025

The Dad’s pancake breakfast will be from 10:00 to 11:30 am on Saturday, June 14, 2025 during the Saturday practice.Dad volunteers make pancakes for the swimmers to enjoy after they swim.

FIRED UP Pizza & BBQ food truck – June 18, 2025

FIRED UP Pizza & BBQ food truck will be popped up in the Cambridge Pool parking lot on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 from 5:30 -8:00 pm (during swim practice). A pre-order link will be available closer to the date.

2025 Registration Payments

If you have not already paid your 2025 registration fees, Zelle or check are accepted.  Please note swimmer name(s) in the memo section of the check or Zelle payment.

For payment by check, please may payable to Regency Riptides.  Checks can be given to Angie Urbanc at 102 Selly Manor Ct. or Wendy Monroe at 304 Southglen Dr.
