The weather forecast for this afternoon and evening calls for potentially heavy rain and/or thunderstorms.  The lifeguards will close the pool if they are not able to see the bottom of the pool due to heavy rain. The pool will also be closed at the first sound of thunder or first sight of lightning. The pool will remain closed until the lifeguards determine it is safe to use the pool.
