Hello Riptide families,

As we near the end of the season, we are thankful for all of the hard work that our board members have done to make the season so successful. Without these volunteers, we would not be able to have such an awesome summer swim team! Like many of you, these volunteers are raising families, some are working full time jobs and all have additional commitments in the community that keep them busy throughout the year. We all, as individuals, know our capacity for what we take on in our lives. However, in order to keep this important summer tradition, that all of our kids love, it is time to consider fulfilling one of these roles to ensure that we have a swim team next year. As such, I have listed below our board positions available for the 2024 season.

Over the past few years, I have worked closely with all aspects of the team and I want to reassure you that any one volunteer role on our board is not an overwhelming responsibility, one that can easily be learned and will provide so much help for our swim team chairperson and our community. Some of these roles require mostly preseason work, and, with planning, can be completed in a very timely manner. Assuming one of these roles will also fulfill your volunteer requirements for the season, therefore, you will not be required to do any additional volunteering at the meets.
