Hello Riptides!

We will be welcoming Park @ West Lake to our last meet tomorrow, 7/19/22. Our meet will be Red Out themed so come dressed in red or your Riptides gear to show team spirit!

DETAILS: Our pool will close to our members at 4pm. You are welcome to arrive any time after 4:30. Please be on deck, numbered up and ready to swim by 5:00. Please remember to check in upon arrival (both swimmers and volunteers).

PARKING: Our pool parking lot is reserved for our guests - please do not park in our lot! Please park along Killingsworth Drive and Royal Glen Drive, but only on the sides opposite of fire hydrants.

SEATING: Our team is on the left hand side as you enter. Please bring extra seating as we will use several of our pool deck chairs for the swimmer corral. We will have a misting tent in the grass area on the left side for our team. We will also welcome anyone who would like to have more space to sit outside of fence on the grass, left side of the door if you are looking at the entrance. The right side of the pool and the right side of the entrance on the grass will be reserved for Park @ West Lake to have extra room.

FOOD: We will have concessions including water, sodas, gatorade, candy, chips and frozen treats. We will have pizza ($2/slice) and Chic-Fil-A sandwiches ($6) for purchase.

MEET: We will have a meeting of swim meet officials (stroke and turn, place judges, timers, recorder and TSA) at 5:45 at the deep end of the pool. The meet will begin promptly at 6:00 pm. Clerk of course, stroke and turn, kid pushers, starter, announcer, dolphin manager, coaches and meet director will have heat sheets printed for the meet. Place Judge sheets will be available for the recorder. Timer sheets will be available to the timers. All of these documents may be picked up at volunteer check in. Everyone may use the Swimtopia app to follow the progress of the meet. If you are having trouble using the Swimtopia app, come see Laura Haltom or Mandy Withrow.

PARENT RELAY: We are confirming with Park @West Lake to determine if we will have the parent relay. Parents that are interested in swimming in the Parent and Coach's Relay, please bring your suit and please let Laura Haltom or Mandy Withrow know.

ICE CREAM: Everyone is welcome to join us at Fresh in Apex after the swim meet concludes.
