Good evening Riptides!

This email provides details regarding our upcoming meet on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, versus the Amberly Anacondas @ Amberly. 

TIMELINE

Athletes and volunteers must arrive by 5:00pm. Warm ups begin promptly at 5:30 pm through 5:55pm. The Officiating/ Volunteer meeting will be @ 5:45pm. All timers, place judges, TSA and the timing managers must be in attendance.  The meet will start promptly at 6:00pm.  

SWIMMER NUMBERS

Swimmer numbers are attached to this email.  You may also find them at https://regencyriptides.swimtopia.com/swim_meets under the July 12th Regency @ Amberly meet.

LOCATION

The Amberly pool is located at 1075 Residents Club Drive, Cary.  The parking lot is quite large, so you should have no issues with parking. Families will need to enter through the front doors of the clubhouse. The club is asking for a guest waiver to be presented at the time of entry.  I have attached it here for anyone that would like to complete it prior to arrival. Please follow the signs for swim meet guests at the front door and then proceed directly to the lap pool downstairs. We have additional facilities and a fun pool that are off limits to swim meet participants. There are restrooms down by the lap pool. Regency will be set up on the side of the pool closest to the building.

CONCESSIONS

There are no team run concessions. Amberly currently has two Food Trucks lined up - Stick Happens (They offer Popsicles ranging from $3.50 to $4.25) and Abbey on the Road (Hamburgers). They will be offering water to those working poolside during the meet. Please plan accordingly as they have a very large team so there will be many people at this meet.

PARENTS/COACHES RELAY

Please let Laura Haltom or Mandy Withrow know if you are interested in participating in the parent/coach’s relay. The relay will take place once breaststroke is completed or at the end of the meet.
