Good Evening Riptides!

This email provides details regarding our upcoming meet on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, versus the Woodcreek WhiteCaps at Woodcreek.  Please read carefully as there is a deadline with regards to ordering food for your family at the meet.

TIMELINE

Athletes and volunteers must arrive by 5:00pm. Warm ups begin promptly at 5:30 pm through 5:55pm.  The Officiating/ Volunteer meeting will be @ 5:45pm.  The meet will start promptly at 6:00pm.

SWIMMER NUMBERS

We will send out swimmer numbers for our athletes specifically for this meet. WoodCreek uses Swimmingly for their timing system and we need to use Swimmingly swimmer numbers. DO NOT WRITE THE SWIMMER NUMBER THAT YOU HAVE BEEN USING SO FAR THIS SEASON ON YOUR SWIMMER'S ARM.  The numbers used for this meet are DIFFERENT.

LOCATION (PLEASE SEE WOODCREEK FACILITY DIAGRAM LOCATED BELOW)

WoodCreek WhiteCaps' pool is located at 5200 Lockley Road Apex 27539. Their swim team website can be found at https://whitecaps.swimtopia.com/  Please use the parking lot that is on the right after the clubhouse.  If this lot is full, use the right side of Lockley Road Facility.  Our team can set up on the LEFT side of the pool deck when you enter. There are a few tables and chairs already there, but visitors are encouraged to bring a folding chair.  The best area to have our “bullpen” for swimmers is to the left of the starting area and along the fence. This way kid pushers can have the swimmers set up and ready right next to the clerk of course. 

CONCESSIONS (EACH FAMILY NEEDS TO PLACE ORDER BY THIS SATURDAY AT 5 PM FOR OPTION 1)

Option 1

Woodcreek is offering an Order Ahead option through Manhattan Pizza. Those orders will be delivered to our clubhouse and an announcement will be made when it has arrived. Manhattan Pizza offer pizza, salads, sandwiches and wraps. Please use the following link, and the provided information below, so that you can order ahead: https://forms.gle/MFTiMRmbGs2rtFVz5.  You will need to pay for your order after completing the form using CashApp to $WoodCreekWhiteCaps. The deadline to order and pay for Manhattan Pizza is Saturday at 5:00 PM. Any orders that are not paid for by then will not be placed. Orders will be ready for pick up in the lanai on meet night starting at 5:15 through 5:45 PM. 

Option 2

Friendly Tacos and NC Burger food trucks available in the back of the pool parking lot, as well as Kona Ice in the front of the clubhouse. 

Snacks, candy and waters will be available for purchase in the lanai—CASH only. 

PARENTS/COACHES RELAY

Please let Laura Haltom or Mandy Withrow know if you are interested in participating in the parent/coach’s relay. The relay will take place once breaststroke is completed or at the end of the meet.
